Isn't it usually covered under "animal cruelty" laws? I think that's what the guy with the "zoo" out by Poulsbo was charged with when he was arrested.

True, this was a while ago (late 80s), but I find it hard to imagine there's been an effort to "legalize" bestiality since then.

according to the Seattle Times article, they can't charge him with animal cruelty in regards to the horse, but possibly in regards to the other animals on the "farm" (chickens, goats, sheep).

That makes a sort of sense. The guy I was thinking of was probably arrested for the monkey, not the zebra.
